Overview |

By adopting synchronous parallel design, four high-speed 53Msps 12bit ADC and four independent programmable gain channel composed of high speed precise operational amplifier and precise attenuation filter network are integrated into the card to achieve an voltage signal acquisition range from ±100mV to ±20V; Gain errors and zero-bias of each channel can be removed independently by DAQ controller’s fine tuning which facilitates this product with high measurement accuracy and phase consistency. No manual adjustable component insures the high reliability and stability of the product. |

Analog Input |
|
Maximum sampling rate of PCI4712 A/D is 50Msps, and the advanced DDS signal synthesizer can achieve refined sampling rate in range of 100sps-50Msps,by which customer can set up and acquire signal under special engineering.
Each channel can separately control the gain setting with a range from ±100mV to ±20V divided into 8-level according to 1-2-5 factors. Maximum sampling depth of each channel can achieve up to 16Msa. The specially designed ring buffer facilitates pre-trigger sampling function, which is suitable for signal-shot recording of transience process of engineering. Delay of pre-trigger and post-trigger samples can cover the maximum acquisition period. |

Triggering Sources |
|
PCI4712 has many triggering sources, including software (manual), internal and external triggering. Internal triggering level can be set up freely within current range with options of triggering condition of rising edge, falling edge, internal dual-threshold, external dual-threshold; external signal compiles TTL level standard that may choose rising edge or falling edge is effective. Through setting multiple triggering modes, accurate capture of various characteristic signals can be guaranteed. |

Digital Output |

32-channel TTL level Digital I/O (16 DIs and 16 DOs) has been put into PCI4712 design, which can be used for digital quantity measurement and control within users’ system. |

Clock Synchronization |
|
The Acquisition card has designed the independent time base and the clock controller. While cascading multiple acquisition of system, each card may have different sampling rate. The trigger lines and clock lines of each board cascade through local bus connecter. Under the control of the unified clock source and triggering bus, several acquisition cards can integrate a full-synchronized system. |

Dynamic Upgrade |
|
PCI4712 adopts a Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) facilitating a high integrity and reliability. Acquisition controller (DAQCore) is dynamically downloaded from PCI bus interface when needed, and the acquisition card supports remote upgrade service by a latter design, which meets the special demands of testing-function, and time-sequence for the customer. |
